Robin Hoods Bay
We may never know if Robin Hood, the outlaw, ever came to the coastal village which bears his name. The houses at Robin Hoods Bay seem to cling to the side of the cliff. The village has been a haunt of smugglers, artists and writers over the centuries. This print is a view from the village looking towords Ravenscar, where the headland is often shrouded in mist.
